Jim (Fitz) Fitzgerald, a native of the Washington, DC area, has been working in the entertainment business since he was 17 years. Passionate about the industry and the importance it plays in the lives of all people; at 19 Fitz was producing rock and country shows in arenas and stadiums around the country. At the age of 24, Fitz was the youngest executive producer of a primetime special for NBC Television. As an agent with APA (Agency for the Performing Arts), Fitz worked with artists such as Rodney Dangerfield, Tony Bennett, Tina Turner and many others. In 1998, he and his wife Wendy moved to the Coachella Valley from New York City.
During his time in the Coachella Valley, he has created a vibrant local music scene with a loyal following and fan base. The Fitzgerald’s production company, Wendy Jayne Productions, has had a terrific partnership with the McCallum Theater, creating the very successful series “Fitz’s Jazz Café” currently celebrating its 17th year! Fitz has been nominated for “Radio Personality of the Year” by the national industry trade magazine Radio & Records, and voted “#1 Air Personality,” by the readers of Palm Springs Life Magazine.

Fitz continues to record and perform under the name Jimi FITZ with a new album being readied for release later in 2016.
